"I was a policy holder with Lee’s office for years and recently had to switch to another insurance company. I was dreading having multiple hoops to jump through to cancel my policy with Lee but those fears were unfounded. "I have been a State Farm customer for 30 years, and in 2 states. I reviewed Lee's agency when I first moved to his agency. Now, after another 6 years, I find myself wanting to compliment Erin Phillips, the Service Manager for this agent. Erin is very knowledgeable and really wants to help solve problems that come up. Even when she cannot change the outcome, I feel confident that she has done all she can to help and answer my questions. Right now, we've been going through rate hikes. She still smiles and explains what happened. Thank You Lee, Erin and the rest of the team. You're rocking it!"

"Full stop, you don’t want State Farm auto insurance. I’ve been victimized by State Farm for over 1.5 years dealing with my stolen truck. State Farm has setup a system where it is absolutely designed to break people down and make them give up. They keep reassigning your case to new people who are unfamiliar. They have constant long hold times and nobody knows what they are talking about. They make it difficult for people working at repair shops to submit requests. I believe State Farm is basically insolvent, and they are engaging in bad faith business practices to avoid paying out. I’ve tried finding an attorney to sue them but none are interested because it is a stolen car, personal injury is where all the attorney settlement money is at. After 1.5 years I still have a ripped up truck interior, body damage, and missing parts. Nobody cares about your claims at State Farm. They make everything difficult hoping you will go away and take the loss. In all of this experience, I believe Lee Thornton has proven to be a typical “sales guy” with no real skill set. They are happy to take your money and make the sale, after which point the local office is basically useless. He has tried to help but proven to be ineffective, the standard used car salesman grifter who can’t offer any tangible skills. It is all talk and hot air. Please avoid State Farm for sake of your own sanity."

"I normally do not write reviews but my experience was rocky every time I've had to speak with them or request service. Signing up was relatively easy but the customer service aspect is a different story. Hard to get answers to questions, and or felt as though we were blown off whenever we reached out. Even down to the cancellation, we explicitly requested to have our Home insurance stay in the escrow account, but they refunded us for that anyways. If it couldn't stay in the account at least give us a heads up. Also, being that they have our updated address for the auto and home insurance for these services, they sent the home insurance refund back to our old apartment address when we were signing up for our recently purchased house. If not for the USPS mail forwarding, we would've never received or knew of the refund in the first place. Our auto premiums also increased with no explanations or heads up after 6 months when nothing has changed on our end. Easy to collect payments but being your "agent" is like pulling teeth. Highly disappointed in the service. Highly unprofessional."
